Installed Widows XP & Media Plaer 9, but no sound

Hi there,
I recently erased my hardrive and installed Windows XP (i
had Windows ME previously) and now my sound wont play.
My sound card is Creative Soundblaster PCI. Does anyone
know how to fix this?? Thanks
