Installed driver not compatible???

I purchased a program called DVDXpressDX2.
The box has the Logo 'Designed for Microsoft Windows XP' which I have.
I downloaded the software using the CD, DVD Express device and USB cables
provided.
The program installed successfully with no problems.

When I went to use the program it states "Installed driver is not combatible".
I clicked on Update Driver and it then states 'Continuing your installation
of this software may impair the operation of your system. Microsoft strongly
recommends that you stop this installation now.'

It gives me the option of: 'Continue with Installation' or 'Stop
Installation Now'.

Could anyone please help with this.
Thank you.

Should I continue

System Restore working? Good system restore point made? Backups up to
date?
If all 'yes' - go for it. If unsure - contact the company that made said
product for support.
