Install/Uninstall problems (missing) keys

I am trying to unistall some programs on my machine but I am getting the
message that the unistall keys are missing. I even downloaded a registry
cleaner to remove some of the programs. No luck there, because they did not
show up in the program. I tried to unistall the cleaner that I just
downloaded and now that uninstall key is missing. Anyone else having this
problem. If so, have you fixed and how did you fix it?! I'm stuck!!!!!
 
Yes! im having the same problem, but in reverse? im trying to install the
software for my i pod and i get 2 error messages ....can't find key or
whatever, anyway, i did the same thing- got one of those registry
fixing/cleaning programs, but it didn't help. HELP!
