Is it possible that the SATA controller is defective?
Sounds like you may have to call them again.

Doesn't sound like it to me. It sounds like a bad ground somewhere or a
defective motherboard but it's pretty hard to troubleshoot hardware without
being there. I would suspect a firewire or USB port has the wires hooked up
wrong. he problem with the recovery console is not a problem but the way it
designed to work.

Hi Kerry,
You were right Compusa found my Firewire and my motherboard defected.
They replaced both but still no RC
I don't know what else to do.
Can I use the bootdisk.com which I believe is Win9x to access the windows folder and NOT use there utilities just use
XP's with their disk?

You'll have to create a floppy disk with the SATA/RAID controller driver on
it and press F6 during the recovery console boot to load the driver. I don't
know of an easier way to do it.

Hi Kerry,
When I checked the Bootsect.dat it said:
A disk read error occurred
NTLDR is missing
NTLDR is compressed
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
The NTLDR is there in my root folder.I have deleted all the cmdcons folder and the NTLDR and edited the boot.ini but
when I reinstalled it still gave me a blue screen that I posted earlier to you.

I checked that Intel site you gave me but I don't have a floppy drive only a CD/DVD
I also can't find the files they mentioned in the instructions.
I thought this was in my system already cause I never had this problem till I had to install new HD's from Western
Digital.
