I have exoerienced situations at both Travelocity and ebay
when I receive a message indicating I have left required
information fields blank and I'm told to go back to
theprevious page and input this information. This occurs
even thogh I have in fact input all information. I
conatcted Travelocity, assuming it was a problem with
their site, and they instructed me to clear out the cache,
cookis, and temporary files. I did this, but teh problem
persists. I would appreciate someone drawing my attention
to a potential cuse of this problem.

Thanks in advance

This is probably being caused by the latest security Update for IE (832894)

You could try the registry edit in this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834489
Look for "How to disable the new default behavior for handling user
information in HTTP or HTTPS URLs"

Or the appropriate file from http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=831167 may
fix this problem for you.

The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download
Center:
Download the Q831167.exe (32-bit) package now.
Download the Q831167.exe (64-bit) package now.
Release Date: February 12, 2004

You most probably need the 32 bit version- not the 64 bit version. 64 bit
WindowsXP is still pretty rare.

If those steps don't fix things for you, you could uninstall the 832894
update.

Hope this helps,
Don
