Information Bar Drama

Ok...so I am just trying to go into a game site and the Micro Info Bar pops
up telling me that my security settings will not allow sites that use Active
X. When I click on the bar I get a small box that tells me what the
information bar is but not how to fix my problem. So I went in where I
thought the security settings are and checked ..from what I see if I am right
they are at Medium. Ive also stumbled upon where it shows you if your Active
X controls are enabled and mine are. Helllllppp!! I am not computer literate
enough to find what is wrong and the Help sections just keep running me in
circles. Thanks so much!!!

"Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" is a radio button "Enable" at IE, Tools
menu, Options, Security tab, "Custom Level" button. Scroll down to the
setting.

Hi....Did all that already....controls are enabled. Still Saying my
security settings
do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on my computer. Any
other suggestions???

Crazy thing is that when I go to Windows Update....It gives me the same Info
bar but yet wont let me do what is necessary to fix it. I dont get the little
drop down off the Info bar that lets me Install.

I would disable, apply, and enable the setting to see if you can get the
registry entry to take.
