Increase from 10 connections to 50

Windows only allows 10 open connections at once. On my old putor I had
downloaded a program which increased it from 10 to 50. I can not find it
anymore. Does anyone know what I am talking about that can help me?

No and doing so is a violation of your licensing for Windows XP
Professional.
If you require more connections you need to consider using a Server
operating system such as Windows Server 2003

are you refferring to the "10 client" limit, or the SP2 TCP/IP "security
fix" which limited the number of "in-progress" tcp connections?

I'm not sure? I wanted to allow more connections to my computer to download
more files at once faster.

Why would you allow users to access your machine to download files -
using XP as a file server that provides files to the public is a bad
idea - as we would also assume you don't have a firewall and many other
issues - like your ISP not permitting you to serve files to the public
on your residential connection.

See your End User License Agreement - Start ... Run ... EULA.txt which you
agreed to be bound by when you installed Windows XP Professional.

It states:
....You may permit a maximum
of ten (10) computers or other electronic devices (each
a "Device") to connect to the Workstation Computer to
utilize the services of the Product solely for File and
Print services, Internet Information Services, and remote
access (including connection sharing and telephony
services). The ten connection maximum includes any
indirect connections made through "multiplexing" or other
software or hardware which pools or aggregates
connections. ...

It's called Windows Server 2003, but it's not available for
downloading. Visit your favorite software vendor.
