Incoming Messages taking too long to download

My inbox has been trying to receive messages all day. It is stuck on message
2 of 15 at this point. My inbox has been receiving for hours, but no
messages. I have tried everything, shutting down several terms, removing my
email account and then adding it back, removing Kaspersky anti-virus then
reinstalling it. Nothing has worked. If anyone knows how to fix this please
let me know.

That symptom indicates a 'stuck' email on the server.
Log in via webmail (using your browser), sort the messages there by date,
delete all the older ones you already have downloaded, plus one more.
Then try Windows Mail again.
