Inbox subfolders not showing in outlook/exchange

One of our users is not seeing their inbox subfolders in Outlook.
Outlook is connected via exchange. I know the folders are there
because when I export her mailbox using exmerge the folders appear.
If I logon to Outlook web access they are still not there unless i
logon using firefox - they then appear. I have also tried setting up
on a new pc/client and they are still not there. If i right click
inbox and create a new folder it doesnt show up. though if I create
one outside of inbox it all works ok. Not sure if this is an outlook
problem or exchange.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

This could indicate corruption in the Exchange database. Have you checked
the logs on the Exchange server already?

If you restore the Exmerge to a test mailbox do they show up correctly then?

I'm pretty sure there is no corruption in the exchange database as
nothing is suggesting that in the logs. I would have to dismount the
database to really check which I cant do at the moment. It only
appears to be this one account and when i restore to a different
mailbox its all fine.

Then you up for a choice; further investigate the source of the mailbox
corruption or recreate it and restore it with the exmerge ;-)
