Emails not showing in subfolders

I am having an issue were some of my emails are missing. I created a
subfolder in my inbox and dragged some emails that I sent to the folder. I
checked the folder and the emails were there. When I went back, the emails
are gone. They were in the folder an hour ago and now they are missing.

I am using Outlook 2007 with MS Exchange and autoarchive is not active on
the folder.

I don't see any custom filters. I also checked the deleted items and they are
not in there.
