Inbox Mail disappears after reading and leaving the folder!

I have an interesting problem with Outlook that started suddenly last week.
Cached Exchange Mode is being used here. The problem she has is her Inbox
mail disappears once she has read it and leaves the Inbox. Her mail remains
on the server and available via Web Access. I ran the “Inbox Repair Toolâ€
first without success. Office 2003 was then repaired and afterwards
reinstalled in hopes for a quick fix but didn’t help. The computer is free of
any viruses and spyware and no special rules are set up. I also set up my
Outlook under my login profile on her computer with no problems. Although it
may appear so, I haven’t spent a lot of time on it yet and was hoping for a
little help to avoid doing so. I hope to rid myself of this disappearing act
this coming week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

her Inbox mail disappears once she has read it and leaves the Inbox.

Have her click View>Arrange By>Current View and make sure she's using
"Messages" and not "Unread Messages" as her view.
