Ahoy everybody! I have searched and scoured the web for info on this, but can't find anything good.

I am trying to do a repair install of windows (I can NOT do a clean one at the moment. I have to save stuff.) but the install keeps locking up at the "34 minutes left GUI" of the installation. Upon inspection of my setupact.log file, I saw this:

Code:
E:\I386\MSTSWEB.CA_ was copied to C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\MSTSWEB.CAT.
E:\I386\OEMBIOS.CA_ was copied to C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\OEMBIOS.CAT.
The external program RUNDLL32 shell32,Control_RunDLL intl.cpl,,/f:"C:\WINDOWS\System32\$winnt$.inf" /s:"E:\I386" returned exit code 0.
NetSetup: SetupMode: 0x1, ProductType: 0x0, OperationFlags: 0x8004
Setup encountered an error while trying to set system security.

An extended error has occurred.

As you can see, the last thing that copies is the OEMBIOS.CAT. Then, I have no clue what goes on. I have tried the SHIFT+F10 thing and tried to uninstall my firewall (no antivirus program installed), but it gave me an error stating that the windows uninstaller was not installed or properly configured.... *sigh*

Any help anybody!? Thanks a bunch!
