Importting a .pst file from Outlook 2003 into an earlier version

I need help getting a .pst imported into my Outlook 2000 Inbox. This data in
the .pst was originally from a Outlook 2000 shared network drive, which was
used for sharing files via folders with others.
Due to the size, a new drive was created. The pst. files were saved to the
new drive on a desktop using Outlook 2003, causing the Outlook 2000 users to
receive error messages when trying to open it.
The Access 2003 user than attempted to save the .pst in an Outlook 97-2002
Personal Folders File (*.pst) to enable the 2000 users to access the .pst.
However, while the files were being imported to the new 97-2002 .pst, it
stopped part way through and a folder size window popped up showing errors in
the folder size positions.

Please HELP!!!

This is only one reason why importing and exporting is never the correct way
to transfer Outlook data. You must first create the PST file in Outlook
97-2002 format then copy the data you want to store into it. Obviously, this
must all be done in Outlook 2003.
