Importing links from IE 5 to IE 6...can't seem to do it.

Dear sages:

The hard drive on my old computer, which used IE 5.01,
finally gave up the ghost a few days ago. One of the items
I'd backed up was my Favorites directory.

Now I'm trying to import those Favorites to IE 6, and I'm
encountering two problems. First, IE 6 seems to only want
to try to import one Favorite at a time...which is not a
very practical way to import all these Favorites. Second,
once I select an individual favorite, IE6 tells me it's
not valid.

Is there a simple way to import (or otherwise enable) all
these old Favorites? So far, the only way I've found to do
it is to CLICK on one of the Favorites (as I've moved the
whole Favorites folder onto this new computer), which
takes me to the web address, which I can then save as a
new Favorite. Very time-consuming.

Many thanks,
Josh

Simply copy the entire Favoriate Folder from the source and paste it
on the second computer. Make sure you select the same location for
the favorites folder on the second page. Since you did not mention
the operating system, I can't guess. For example, Windows 9.x and
XP store this folder in different locations.
