Importing excel workbook to outlook contact manager

i followed the steps to import excel wb to outlook contacts. i had 38
enteries with 6 columns of info. when i imported it began on the first column
of info and imported the 38 enteries, but did not move to the next column,
rather it continued importing from the first column and wouldn't stop until i
cancelled it.

When preparing to import i clicked and moved each field to the correct value
but it would only import the first row. Any suggestions. thanks.

diane;
thanks for the reply. i did not have a named range and went to your
slipstick tutorial. i created a range per the instructions, but i did not
know where to place the name in the address bar and if it needed to be
inputted in a certain way.

You just need to select the range and type the name in the box that normally
shows the cell address (ie, A1). Press Enter after typing the name.
