What wrong it is about importing contact from Excel?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what wrong it is about importing contact
from Excel? Under XP sp2 with IE7, I am using Outlook 2003, as I export
contact into Excel for changing phone cateagues from other into Business
Phone, and add more numbers into Excel. After it is done, I clear all contact
records within Outlook 2003, then import the contact lists from Edited Excel
files. However, after importing from Excel files, I still can see old contact
lists, but I cannot see the new added contact lists. I have double checked
the data format within Excel with no problem.
Name, Phone.
Does anyone have suggestions what wrong it is? and how to fix this missing
contact lists? which is new added.

I'll ask again: cannot see them WHERE? Where are you looking expecting to see
them?

I don't understand what you mean "cannot see them WHERE"?
When I export existing contact from Outlook 2003 into Execl, can you see the
contact information from Excel by opening the exported excel file? Once you
see the detailed information about contact information, then following the
same format and inserting new contact information into Excel. After that, I
would like to import this edited Excel file back into Outlook 2003, and
expect to see the new added contact information within Outlook 2003. That is
what I need, but when I open Outlook 2003, I cannot see any new added contact
information within Outlook 2003.
Do you have any suggestions?

In what window, folder, pane, and view is what I mean.

So are you looking in the Contacts folder where you imported them or some
other window?
