Import Outlook 2003 Contacts into Outlook 2000

I get an error message, "Properties for the information service must be
defined prior to use" when I try to import an Output 2003 Contact pst file
into my Outlook 2000.

Earlier I had exported this from my my Outlook 2003 using the export feature
and pst file type. I am using XP as my OS.

When I try to import this XP Output 2003 file into my
Windows 2000 computer using Outlook 2000, I get the above error message. I
acknowledge the type is pst, but it does not seem to recognize it as a pst.

Thanks,

Steve

2003 pst file formats are not downwardly compatible, if you are just doing
the Contacts folder why not try the export to Excel or CSV format.
Alternately create a new pst data file compatible with earlier versions
(there is a check box to specify an earlier version as you create it) and
then copy the Contact folder items to it.
