impact sd memory card

Hi, I have the Impact 128 MB sd -card. I took 10 pictures. I placed the card
into my lexmark printer & it says that there is no memory card inserted .So,
then I plugged in the camera to the pc using the usb cable (card still in
the camera). I went into the removable disk (G) and nothing got downloaded
from the SD card. I know that pictures were being taken because the LCD
screen was counting down each time I took a picture. plus, the LCD said that
I can take 765 pictures instead of 50.
anything I can try to do

You see your camera as a removable drive (G).
This is fine and the way it should work.
But to download the photos you have to do a little bit more work.
1. Double click on this removable drive G to open it.
2. You will see a folder name. Double click on it to open it. You will see
another folder name. Double click on it to open it. You will now see a list
of photo files. Click on the first file.
3. To copy these photo files to your hard drive, select them. An easy way to
do this is simply to hold the Ctrl key down and press the letter A. This
select (highlight in blue) all the files in the folder.
4. Look at the menu on the left, under Files and Folders Tasks. Click on
Copy the selected items. A window will open for you to select a folder to
copy them into, or to make a new folder to copy them into. Select which one
you want and click on Copy. The photo files from your card will now be
copied to a folder on your hard drive.

Hi, Yves and all, Well, let me start by saying that I think that the problem
is resolved. I was working on another issue and downloaded the autofix.exe
to fix the scanner/ wizard; and funny enough, I plugged in 2 cameras that I
have (after taking pictures with this same SD card) and the camera
recognized it, & I downloaded it directly from my camera by using the
wizard. I am pleased now! BUT, when I go to my computor, I see the removable
drive (G) in that area but my Vivitar or COncord camera is not named in that
section- anywhere. Should it be named?
Its like, when one puts a video in the DVD drive, it shows the name of the
movie. But, in my case in the removable disk drive (G), neither camera is
shown. So, my question is this, could have installing this autofix.exe
helped my cameras with the SD problem??? One more question, does it matter
if the drive is called (H) or (G)? sometimes the scanner opens up with the
(H) drive.

Thanks so very much for your help-! ! ! !

It may just show a removable drive with no camera name. This is fine. No
problem. Just open it.
Yes, the autofix.exe is a way to download. If you prefer this, no problem.
The drive name can change, depending upon what is connected to your
computer. No problem.
Glad everything is working fine.
