sd memory cards

Hi- I have never used a sd mem. card. I bought one today with 128 mb. I have
3 dig cameras The cheapest of the 3 cameras, suprisingly, produces the best
quality in picture. It is the vivitar 3345; 1.3 Mp . My other one is a
concord duo 2000; 2 MP, & the last one is the vivtar 3560 2MP.
ANyways, all 3 can use this sd card-I stuck the sd in the vivitar 3345 and
in 640x480, I could take 790 pictures or so according to the lcd screen. I
took a few pictures & then connected the camera to the pc by via usb cord.
nothing happens. Then I tried to go to 'my comp' while it was still conected
and nothing wanted to open up til I unplugged the camera from the usb. My
card did not come with instructions. It was bought at wal-mart, the Impact
brand. I could have gotten a San disk or kodak brand but @ $15, I thought
that this would be a nice beginner sd. Can u give me tips on how to do this
right. ALso, I have a 3 in one printer that has the slots for sd's. any tips
would be appreciated.

Hi, Please mention the operating system of your PC and if you have ever
changed he quality of picture settings on the camera before. See what the
camera manual says about that or check the web support for those
manufacturers for quality of images. Most new cameras can change the image
quality from good to best and change how much memory each picture allocates
for each shot on the sd card depending on the setting. Higher the quality,
the fewer the pictues.

Also, you may need to turn the camera on and off and back on while connected
to the USB. There may be a transfer mode for the camera which may be listed
in the manual.
