about SD cards

Hi, I just found out today (after days of trouble shooting & finally calling
the camera support) that my "impact sd 128 MB" card will not be compatible
with my Concord duo 2000 dig cam.
unfortunetly, had I known that this brand of Sd card is not compatible with
my camera, I would not have bought it ,or would have exchanged it right
away(if possible) for another brand. ANyone encountered this problem?

I have another camera, vivitar (cheapy one, but great clear pic's) that I
used this SD card on once. well, when I plugged the card into my lexmark
printer, i noticed that there were 6 pic's there that are weeks old. HOW can
I safely 'erase' any or all pic's on this sd card. do I use my camera, pc,
or printer functions. what is the terminology for this process. thanks in
advance

Deleting and / or formatting will
remove the contents of the card.

It's generally recommended that the
card be formatted in the camera it's
to be used in.

Also, files can be deleted from the
memory card. Check your camera's
manual for instructions on deleting.
