imap email history

Hello Everyone,

Heres my dilema. I used to use pop3 email and all my history was visible in
the contatcs activity view. Now I set up 3 new IMAP emails and can't get them
to link with my contacts. I need to be able to search all the emails
associated with an individual through their contact file.

to link with my contacts. I need to be able to search all the emails
associated with an individual through their contact file.

Tis the problem of having separate message stores. All Exchange and POP
accounts are aggregated under one message store, the same one where you
have your Contacts. Each IMAP account gets its own message store as do
HTTP accounts. Each message store gets its own PST file and each shows
as a separate tree in the folders pane. From your description, my guess
is that the Activities function for a contact is restricted to those
e-mails within the same message store as where the contact is stored.
