images not dispalying in messages

I have a recurring problem whereby the images in some of my inbound emails
don't appear but rather show only as a box w/ a red X. I searched the net and
found a solution by deleting the OutlookSecureTempFolder from
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\*Version*\Outlook\Security. This works for
about 3-4 days then the problem reoccurs. Any thoughts as to what causes this
condition in the first place?
