Images in email

I use Word to process email in Outlook 2003. Incoming email with photos or
other images display as an outline with a red X. However, the images can be
viewed by clicking "Reply."

Is there a setting I can change that would display the images in the email
when I open it without having to go through this extra step?

Are you getting a message in the Infobar (at the top) saying that you need to
add the sender to your Safe Senders list or choose to download the pictures
for that e-mail only?

No Infobar. Senders can be in Safe Sender list. Still get the little red
X's.
