Outlook 2007 SP2 -- Images Not Displaying

My previous post was slightly incorrect. The problem I'm having is that
embedded images (hosted on the web) in e-mails which displayed yesterday do
not display today. However the images do display if I choose "view in
browser" and they open in IE8 just fine. When I open the message in outlook,
the outline of the image shows with a red X. This happens in other user
profiles as well. Rebooting does not fix it.

Tried cleaning the Outlook Temp folder already?

Tried it, didn't help. This happens with other user profiles on the same
computer.

Could this have something to do with our firewall? The images seem to open
successfully at home when Outlook is in offline mode, but when I come into
work and try to open it the red X's come appear again.

Is this on a laptop? So the exact same machine that gives you issues at the
office? Then yes, it could definitely be corporate firewall related.
