I'm wondering that WHQL Procedures for device driver development company

I'm wondering that WHQL Procedures for device driver development company not
Hadware vendor.
Would you explain to me that?

I know that I need driver verifier program
and then that test is succeeded, WHQL give me catalog file for device driver
files(sys, inf)
But How can I evidence test succeed? log file?
