Thanks @V_R

I just tried updating to this now (Windows 10 and 960 GTX), but I'm getting a blue screen when updating via the NVIDIA app. Going to try the standalone download instead.

Thats odd.....

I forgot to say last night, I did a fresh install of these with no issues (ran DDU in safe mode, rebooted, installed just the driver, GFE and Physx.

FWIW I always at least tick the clean install option when I update.

Maybe you just got unlucky? :)

no. he not, if he is, so am I ... I'm yet to get ANY nVidia drivers to install, no matter how, on Win 10 without either, "these drivers are incompatible with your device" or a " BSOD" ... to be fair, only had one BSOD. :)

from what I can see with this, small, update, it's a 'fix' to one program to my 355.82 drivers, which was a Win10 auto-upgrade anyway. That fix is to the Memory clock reported as 0 MHz if P-state is P0. At times, same report with P2 P-state. [200135032] I see no other benefits to me in upgrading. just a FYI.

Well your both unlucky then.

Seriously try running DDU in safe mode, then reinstalling nice and fresh. :)

Tried DDU in Safe Mode (although Kaspersky detected it as a Trojan!) and then did a fresh install without a crash. Phew...

It was a "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" BSOD, which I've not seen for years!

I'm using the NVidia Experience software and received notification this morning new driver available so selected 'Download driver' and kept getting a message saying 'Not available'.

So that's three of us 'Just unlucky' then ;) I suspect the Nvidia server was probably overwhelmed, will probably be ok in a day or two.

I haven't updated yet but I'll get round to it, I've no issues graphically with any of my games atm.
