Illegal Operation

I keep getting Illegal Operation errors and my IE is
almost unusable. The message says "IEXPLORER caused an
invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at
015f:bff7a115". Thanks in advance for your time and help.
(FYI:I'm not sure if I have version 6.0)
