Illegal Operation

When I shut down my computer, I get an Explorer Illegal
Operation window: Explorer caused an invalid page fault
in Module <unknown> at 0000: 011c2c21. This occurs even
if I did not open up IExplorer. Thanks in advance for
your help.

Explorer is different than IExplorer. The former refers to Windows
Explorer. What operating system are you using?

If Windows 98, look at this website for shutdown problem.

The problem is usually a corrupted video card driver or sound card driver.
Uninstall and reinstall these drivers. The Fast Shutdown problem is also an
issue with Windows 98.
