iexplore error

Periodically I get this illegal operation error message: IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault i
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9db61. I am unable to close the icon box and ctr alt del does not bring up anything. The only way to get rid of it is to reboot. Can you help

Jim,
Possibly caused by an adware, spyware, parasite program.

A legitimate program running in the background may be causing this. Disable
(for diagnostic purposes) programs such as pop-up blockers, security,
anti-virus, etc. Also... notorious for causing problems- Gator, Kazaa and
some others.

There are other possibilities for KERNEL32 errors, including corrupted or
outdated video drivers
