if it possible to put text over a running movie, if so how to do

I want to know if powerpoint 2007 can put text
over a movie. I would like to place a movie in a slide
and then have that movie run from slide to slide while different
text slides run on top. my movies are in a mpg format.

Also that is the feature run movie through slides.

To run movie through slides, click Slide Show > Custom Animation.
Double click on the play effect (for the movie).
Set it to Stop Playing after 999 Slides.
