Hello,

In task manager it displays as many as 30 instances of iexplorer.exe running
which is resulting in 100% usage of my CPU. I have tried ending each process
and restarting my computerl, but when I do this, multiple sessions of
iexplorer.exe start back up.

I have run McAffee anti virus and it does not find anything.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

McAffee will NOT do anything about malware other than viruses. Chances are
that you have some other sort of malware.

UPDATE your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

UPDATE whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

You might want to start in Safe Mode to run your antivirus and anti-spyware
software.

Running a full system antivirus scan or anti-spyware scan in Safe Mode can
be a good idea. Some viruses and other malware like to conceal themselves
in areas Windows protects while using them. Safe mode will prevent those
applications access and therefore unprotect the viruses or other malware
allowing for easier removal.

Here are some links for tools to remove malware. McAfee is an Anti-virus.
There are many nasties out there which are not viral which an AV program can
not catch. For non viral malware you need to run two or three different
programs. No one does it all.
