In last few weeks at start up i get this message"windows cannot find the
file iexeplore.exe..I have tried all kinds of registry fixes, antivirus`s, and
checked configuration for start up files hat i could disable, but nothing will
erase this...my first time on here, hope someone can help. Many thanks

Click start and then run and type: regedit
expand to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
in the right hand pane the option shell should read 'explorer.exe' , not
'explorer.exe iexeplore.exe' if it reads the latter double click it and
delete the iexeplore.exe text, so it just reads 'explorer.exe'..

Hope this helps

Check the error message again. You've spelled it iexepore.exe
in the subject and iexeplore.exe in the body of your message.
Which one is it?

The executable for Internet Explorer is iexplore.exe. If the
spelling of the program you're having problems with is a slight
variation of iexplore.exe then my best guess is that you had
some sort of malware on your computer which was found and
removed during a scan by one of the security programs installed
on your computer. Unfortunately, it left behind the startup
entry for this malware.

If I was trying to pinpoint where this startup entry was the
first tool I'd turn to would be this program.

AutoRuns for Windows v8.54

Good luck
