IE7 General Release Favorites vs. IE6

Is there any way to get IE7 to provide the mouse over opening of favorites
the way IE6 did dropping the expansion when the mouse over is dropped? I
have 1000s of favorites organized in folders in folders, etc. This new way
it works in IE7 with permanent expansion of folders is for the birds. I'm
surprised this did not get worked out in beta with options for how favorites
expansion works. Maybe I am overlooking it.

I don't think so, I haven't found one.

But simply clicking the folder name again collapses it. I can live with
that.
