IE6 SP! XML errors on MSDN and Technet after installing MS03-048 Patch

Over the past week on several machines, everything is fine
until I install the patch for MS03-048. As soon as I
install this patch using Windows Update, Shavlik, or
directly downloading the file from downlad center on both
XP SP1a with rollup and all other patches as well as a W2K
SP4 machine already with IE6SP1, the TOC becomes
unavaliable for both MSDN and Technet. Additionally, when
I go to the security bulletin site, I get an IE
error, "Transform Results Exception(), Err: -2147467259,
The stylesheet does not contain a document element. The
stylesheet may be empty, or it may not be a well-formed
XML document. If I click OK I cant actually search or
anything and the TOC remains "unavailable". If I remove
the patch, everything is fine again, no errors, no other
patches missing ,etc. Both had IE6SP1 with no culmative
patch installed yet, had XML 4.0 SP2 installed, and XML
3.0 SP4 installed, and had the XP box had the windows.help
() patch installed as well (W2K SP4 I guess includes
this). Help!

Additionally, some MSDN links work and the TOC shows up
fine, sometimes it does not :-(. Still cannot get
anything on Technet to work right with this patch.
