RPC MS03-026 and Windows 2000 SP2

Where do I get the patch for SP2 on the RPC MS03-026
vulnerability? When I go to windows update, it doesn't
display the update as available to download, and when I go
to the technet information, it says it works with SP3 and
SP4. I can't move up to SP3 or 4 due to conflicts with
current software, but I want to make sure I am protected
from this vulnerability. How do I go about getting this
patch installed? Any help is appreciated.

Try the MS Download area where you can obtain all the
fixes -- rather than the automated Windows Update page.

Most of those fixes will work on SP2 but I cannot vouch for
this one and there is at least one that will hose your machine.

You are going to face increasing problems as Win2000 evolves.

What software is essential and unable to support current Service
Packs?

I also have a few servers that have know conflicts with
service pack 3 and I am unsure as to what to do. for now
I am disabling DCOM as was recommended in another post on
this newsgroup:
