IE6 SP! on Windows 2000 SP4 Not Talking HTTP

After running SpyBot to remove quite a few ad/spyware
applications my browser (IE6 SP1 on Windows 2000 SP4) no
longer works. I can't connect to -any- site (Internet or
Intranet). I can telnet to any given site's port 80 and
see that I'm connected and talking HTTP. I have verified
connection settings in the browser (no proxy and that sort
of thing) as well as security settings (were set to Custom-
-I reset to Default). The browser has been reinstalled--
still down. I feel strongly this is a registry setting
but where?!
