IE6/IE7 still unable to go Yahoo Mail

Using XP Home SP2 and thinking that IE6 is corrupted, so install IE7
(downloaded from another pc). I can surf to most web sites and at Yahoo main
page when I click "MAIL' it will say 'page cannot be displayed" Any idea why?
ISP says I am connected all the time. Please help, thanks
