IE6 Cannot change fonts on tools tab

Ray

Only on this PC i have this problem. Having selected
Tools> Internet options> General tab> Fonts> Languauge
script its stuck on "Cyrillic" - I have selected "latin
based" script in drop down list but although i press Ok on
font tab, when I exit General tab "apply" is greyed out
although I am able to click OK tab.
However, it does NOT save changes and stays stuck
on "cyrillic"
I checked in regional settings on control panel and
English selected etc.
ANY IDEAS ANYONE????
By the way I also downloaded today the IE6SP1 but it will
not install as it says some software on download not MS
approved!

:) Don't worry - there is *no* functionality behind that.
It's just a menu with single-line window to show an item from that
menu. Which item is shown - does not matter, it does NOT mean
that say Cyrillic is now you Default setting, not at all.

Again, it's just an item shown in that single-line window,
not any kind of setting.

By the way, Internet Explorer does not have any setting in
any place of its options to specify a Default
Character Set Encoding (unlike Netscape/Mozilla), so don't worry.
