IE shuts down

Robert

All of a sudden whenever I'm in Internet Explorer and I hit F11 to return
from full screen and open up the url field, it shuts down! It just started
today. Doesn't happen when I hit F11 to go to full screen. Any ideas?

Error message is 'runtime error'.

I have no idea why IE is crashing.

You can have the Address bar in Full Screen (F11) mode.

Right click the top Toolbar and Select Address Bar.

Yes, it helps. It would still be nice to know why it's doing this.

Latest error:
Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe.
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

What is the virus/malware status of the machine? If you think it is
clean, what programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

I have no idea. Look in the Event Viewer.

To open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | Click OK

Event ID & the Event Source are very important.
