IE icon missing from html files

I seem to have lost the IE icon from all my htm and html files.
I have gone to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and tried
applying a reg fix but it doesn't help.
All i have is a plain icon where normallly there is an icon showing the file
association.
If I change the html associationit to another browser I still get no icon
Help would br gratefully received

Hi Keith,

Try going to Windows Explorer > Folder Options > Types of files, and
reassociating the htm and html files with IE.
