IE has experienced a problem and needs to close

IE7 with XP Home (SP3). The error message gives a coice to send or not send
a report to Microsoft then IE7 closes. This happens most specifically when
accessing Hotmail. The main page appears, but attempts to do anything at all
(open, delete, etc.) produce error message.

Have uninstalled/reinstalled IE7 to no avail. Have run adware/malware scans
and antivirus.

earlier attempts to get help produced email to Hotmail acct. - 2 messages,
both blank.

Anyone willing to try again?

Tnx,

Problems with IE are most often caused by third-party add-ons. Try running
in no-add-on mode. If that solves the issue, then enable add-ons one at a
time until you find the culprit. Then uninstall that bad boy.

MS webpage explaining add-ons: http://tinyurl.com/2tro8f

Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; or

Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
add-ons).
