IE does not go to the website typed in address bar

My laptop uses a modem to connect to the Internet. When connected to Internet for the first time, IE can go to typed in websites. If disconnected and then connected to Internet again, IE does not go to the website typed in address bar. However, IE still can go to those websites saved in " favorite " toolbar

Please help me to solve the problem.

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
