IE Browser Window

I cannot open more than one window. In other words, when
I am visiting a site I cannot minimize and open a new
window. It automatically uses the same window. I am
unable to open a separate window from anywhere. I have
plenty of disc space available; I am stumped. Would
appreciate any feedback on this.

Noahsbird,
Open IE and go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS and then click on the ADVANCED
tab, scroll down till you see "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" and
UNcheck it, then hit APPLY and OK.

That is checked on mine. It happens even when I click the taskbar icon or hit
CTRL N

This started right after I downloaded the newest version of Yahoo Messenger.
Not sure if that's related.

I was having the same problem. Whenever I clicked on a
link that caused a new browser window to open, it would
close the original window and only leave the new one
open. Major pain in the butt!

The solution posted here worked for me. Thanks!

Uninstall Yahoo Companion.
