IE always wants to work off-line

Hello

All of a sudden IE won't dial-up and go on-line
I get the message
"No connection to the internet is currently available. To view
internet content that has been saved on your computer click work
offline"

It always drops into offline mode
Un checking 'work offline' doesn't help
I un-installed IE from add/remove, but even after it was re-built i'm
still having the same probs

Can anyone help please

My computer is doing the same. If you find a solution

Apparently the google toolbar is causing some kind of

conflict with Internet Explorer. I uninstalled the
toolbar and my system is back to normal. Paul

I downloaded and reinstalled IE Paul, it has no Google toolbar and IE
is working fine now. I miss the google toolbar function and wonder if
i re-installed google would it muck me up again?

No. Google fixed the toolbar.
