IE 7

Hi, I have decided to install IE7 and have a couple of questions!

Can someone give me link to the IE7 newsgroup as my list is not extended so
I don't know how to do it(newbie)?
Do I have to uninstall IE6 first?
Should I do it as it is beta?

Thanks

The best thing you can do is NOT install IE7 Beta !

What a stupid reply. as long as the OP realises what a "beta" program is,
there's no earthly reason why they should NOT install it. I have it, and
so-far there's been NO problems at all.

It is idiotic for someone who is NOT a paid Beta tester to install Beta software on the PC.
That is unless they are fully prepared to pay the price if something goes wrong. Often
somethin DOES go wrong !

Microsoft is pushing too many Beta products on unsuspecting, newbies. I read too many news
post of problems after they do install the Beta software. Prevention is better than cure
and Mozilla FireFox and Opera will do the OP *much* better.

And since when has MS ever paid any beta tester? I still maintain that as
long as the OP goes in with eyes open there is no reason why they should NOT
install the current IE7 beta.

Because if there machine gets corrupted and they are a newbie, it hasn't helped -- it has
hurt !

Based upon all the posts of problems with IE7 that I have seen, that's all the reason that's
needed.
