IE 7 Opens files and does not lety you download them.

Whenever I click on a link to an .xls or .csv file it open in Internet
Explorer and does not pop up the download message. If I shift click the link
(the link is generated through java script and so cannot use the right click
and save as option) I get the following error message:-

Cannot open Microsoft Excel 97 Add-In for editing. Please edit the source
document instead.

Sorry About this. I hit post before finishing.

How do I disable the feature for opeing office documents in Internet
Explorer so that they can be downloaded.
