Whatever..

The guy wanted some help... this seems like a likely place... afte
all, even within msdn the Internet Explorer download is unde
Operating Systems. Personally, if I was going to post a messag
regarding IE I would have done it somewhere else - but I don’t hol
it against the guy for posting here

The right thing to do would have been to either help the guy resolv
his problem or direct him to the place where he might get help.

But as i said, you people are acting really acting asinine. I'v
noticed that you newsgroup lifers are very protective over you
self-appointed position and that you think you know everything... bu
the truth of the matter is somewhere else

LOL! The self-anointed bit is a joke. But this isn't the right
newsgroup to post IE7 beta questions. And most people that have valid
access to the beta should know where to post queries to.

This group deals with enough problems that aren't cuased by beta
software, and doesn't need the added signal to noise factor caused by
idiots installing beta software on there otherwise well running OS.

YES, Davood is an idiot. If he weren't an idiot, then he wouldn't have
posted to this WINDOWS XP group.

If you don't like the way we deal with things here, then don't left the
virtual door slam on your ass as you leave, or you can keep bitchin' and
see where that gets you. The choice is yours.

LOL, yes it was all kind of a joke. Not totally, but mostly as I was
just breaking up the monotony of my day job. But it does seem like a
lot of the people who dedicate themselves to answering questions in
newsgroups/forums tend to get short patient with folks who don’t know
what’s up.

Anyway, have a nice day.
