IE 6

I have IE 6 - recently had problem accessing a website -
Dell finally advised my to check McAfee - Checked the
rejected cookie list and deleted some rejects that I
wanted to access. Restarted computer as a device -
screen resolution was changed - set it back to what it
was. OK. Then only on IE6, not outlook express or other
programs to date, any change up or down on screen to new
lines, sections, whatever, - are not smooth transitions -
the screen is "jerky" (not sure how to best describe it),
it does not move smoothly up or down, but seems to
rewrite the screen to the new location. It is very
distracting and takes more time now. Not sure where to
make changes or what should be done.

I have the same problem on my desktop. When I hit a hyperlink, or even just start IE, the cursor will lock and unlock, the page loads very choppily, spinning windows globe in the upper right locks and unlocks. Finally the page is loaded. Often time too, when I type onto a web page, there is a significant delay between hitting the key and the letter appearing on screen

Did you get any replies, or otherwise figure out what was causing your problems? I didn't see follow up links

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
