Last week I used Windows Update to apply some updates. In the process some
strangeness occurred and so I cancelled and started over, completing
successfully, or so I thought. Now, an application we use here at work
(Microsoft Business Portal) doesn't operate correctly in IE. So I went to
Help/About to check version, etc., and I get a dialog with error 53, Not
enough storage available to complete this operation. My guess is one of the
IE patches failed somehow. I went looking through installed updates
(Add/Remove Programs) and it looks like none specifically mention IE, so I
would have to go back to each KB site for each update and see if it relates
to IE or not -- a tedious process I'm hoping to avoid. I searched the web in
general and found another instance of someone with this same problem, but
there was no answer to their request for help. Any advice that might save me
some time in trying to remedy this situation would be greatly appreciated.
