I understand. I've used both the two window and Abstraction approach.
I normally start with an outline and work it till I have things in
order. Then I fill it in. Navigation in either aproach is not a
problem. It's only one click away.
Let's get serious here. Even to properly write a spec is a major
project. And without a commitment to get it coded, it's wasted effort.
It seems every editor out there has some unique feature we'd like to
have in our work space. That's why I'm a believer in keeping multiple
tools at hand. Other than that, it's custom coding.
